The tide in the bones
Craniosacral

A listening so quiet it can hear the cerebrospinal weather. Hands hover or rest. The body reorganizes when it is not being asked to perform.
A first walk
- 1
Lie down. Let the head be heavy.
- 2
Hands on the sides of the head, or one at the occiput, one at the sacrum if you can reach — or just imagine that span.
- 3
Ask nothing. Wait for a tide: a tiny swell, a pause, a returning.
- 4
Stay through two or three tides. Then sit up as if you were made of water.
